After healing them, Jesus asked the people not to publicize who He was. He was not seeking fame or attention.
Jesus was not building a brand. He healed people because He cared, not because He wanted publicity. He had His own timeline to follow.

Jesus heals freely but avoids the spotlight. He is not interested in popularity -- He is focused on the mission His Father gave Him.
Jesus warns (epetimesen) the healed crowds not to make Him known (hina me phaneron auton poiesosin), continuing the pattern of messianic secrecy that characterizes His ministry.
This injunction to silence reflects Jesus' desire to avoid premature political messianic fervor and to control the timing and manner of His self-revelation according to the Father's plan.

Despite healing many, Jesus commands secrecy -- His mission follows a divine timetable, and popular acclaim could derail God's plan by provoking premature confrontation.
14But the Pharisees went out and plotted how they might kill Jesus.
15Aware of this, Jesus withdrew from that place. Large crowds followed Him, and He healed them all,
16warning them not to make Him known.
17This was to fulfill what was spoken through the prophet Isaiah:
18“Here is My Servant, whom I have chosen, My beloved, in whom My soul delights. I will put My Spirit on Him, and He will proclaim justice to the nations.
