God didn't accidentally lavish this grace on you or do it carelessly; He did it with full wisdom and understanding, knowing exactly what He was doing.
You might wonder if God just throws forgiveness around indiscriminately. Paul is saying no—there's infinite wisdom behind it. God knows the depths of sin, knows your heart, knows the universe, and still He chose to pour out grace. That's not recklessness; that's wisdom operating at a level we can barely grasp.
