By downloading, installing, or using Bible Key, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy.

2. Description of Service

Bible Key is a Bible reading and study application that provides:

Access to the Berean Standard Bible (BSB) translation
Professional audio narration of scripture
AI-powered chat assistance using Anthropic's Claude AI
Personal study tools including bookmarks, notes, and highlights

3. Use of the Service

3.1 Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to use this service. If you are under 18, you must have permission from a parent or guardian.

3.2 Account Registration

Sign in with Apple is used for authentication
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account
You agree to provide accurate information during registration

3.3 Acceptable Use

You agree to use Bible Key for lawful purposes only. You agree not to:

Use the service in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations
Attempt to interfere with the proper functioning of the service
Use automated means to access the service without permission
Reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from the Bible text or audio content beyond personal use

4. Third-Party Services

Bible Key integrates the following third-party services:

4.1 Anthropic's Claude AI

AI-powered chat responses are provided by Anthropic's Claude
Claude's responses are generated based on the teachings of Jesus and New Testament principles
AI responses are for informational and spiritual reflection purposes only

4.2 Berean Standard Bible (BSB)

Bible text is provided under the Berean Standard Bible license
The BSB is available for personal and ministry use

5. Intellectual Property

5.1 App Content

Bible Key application, including its design, features, and original content, is owned by Ali Momen and protected by copyright laws.

5.2 Bible Content

The Berean Standard Bible text and audio recordings are used under license and remain the property of their respective copyright holders.

5.3 User Content

You retain ownership of any notes, highlights, or other content you create within the app. By using the service, you grant us a limited license to store and display your content for the purpose of providing the service.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

6.1 Service Provided "As Is"

Bible Key is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.

6.2 Spiritual Guidance

Important: AI responses are for reflection and study purposes only. They should not replace pastoral guidance, theological education, or personal Bible study. We make no claims about the theological accuracy or completeness of AI-generated responses. Users are encouraged to verify information through prayer, scripture study, and trusted spiritual advisors.

6.3 Technical Accuracy

We do not warrant that:

The service will be uninterrupted or error-free
Defects will be corrected
The service is free from viruses or harmful components

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the service in the past 12 months

8. Subscriptions and Payments

8.1 In-App Purchases

Certain features may require a subscription or one-time purchase
All purchases are processed through Apple's App Store
Prices are subject to change with notice

8.2 Refunds

Refund requests are handled according to Apple's App Store policies
